The grapes are handpicked, destemmed and crushed. It is fermented with native yeast only. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tank with a skin contact of 3 weeks with pumping overs. The wine is barrel aged for 12 months in 1-year old French oak barrels, and a minimum of 6 months in bottle.

“Deep crimson with opaque core. Interesting contrast between sweetness of ripe fruit, and a hint of leafiness. Complex mix of fruit aromas and flavors, both black and red, earthy too. Dry, youthfully chewy, almost chalky tannins but the texture has been smoothed by the oak, so it is rounded but still chalky and giving the effect of dark chocolate on the finish.
